Impacts: Displace native birds from natural habitat, damage fruit and other crops, known to spread weeds, carry mites and very noisy.

While pigeons and starlings can be a nuisance, mynah birds are generally considered more detrimental to the ecosystem and human health.

Although starlings and mynas are in the same family, mynas are larger, measuring about 240 mm long and weigh 125 grams.
